The Commodore's first anniversary is on Sunday, November 10! To celebrate, we'll be hosting a full weekend's worth of amazing shows, parties, workshops, and nonsense, running from Thursday, Nov 7 through Sunday, Nov 10. The centerpiece of the weekend will be a 12+ hour comedy marathon taking place on Saturday, November 9, from noon to midnight. We're calling it Wreckfest.
The festival will feature dozens of hilarious comedy acts across a variety of formats, from improv to sketch to stand-up to, of course, bits.

Improvised Wreck of the Edumund Fitzgerald (Lake Superior)
Why Wreckfest? Well, because November 10 isn't just the Commodore's anniversary... it's also the anniversary of the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald in Lake Superior in 1975. This tragic maritime disaster was chronicled by Gordon Lightfoot in his 1976 hit "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," which is perhaps the least funny song ever written. So, of course, this year's Wreckfest will culminate at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, November 10, with us playing the Lightfoot song, followed by a show called "Improvised 'Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.'" Classic comedy!
Your $15 ticket gets you a wristband that will let you see as many shows as you like during Wreckfest. What a deal! Get your tickets today.
